There are three ways to reach Hakuba from Tokyo this winter season: express train, bullet train (also referred to as shinkansen) , and highway bus. Most transportation requires you to make a transfer and take a shuttle bus to the ski grounds around <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/nsx296iQvJYK18p8A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal<\/a>. From Matsumoto Station, take the JR Oito Line to Hakuba Station and then a local bus to Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal. The JR Oita Line runs <a href=\"https:\/\/timetables.jreast.co.jp\/en\/2510\/timetable\/tt1444\/1444010.html\">once an hour<\/a>.
